Meet Mandy Gilman Chief Operating Officer

Introduction

Mandy Gilman serves as Chief Operating Officer of Gilman Law P.C. In this role, Mandy oversees the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of Gilman Law, including technology, facilities, human resources, and billing.

In addition, Ms. Gilman is also the Founder and CEO of Gilman Consulting. Gilman Consulting works with clients to develop and execute legislative and budget policy initiatives, advocacy campaigns, and stakeholder collaboration. Prior to these roles, Ms. Gilman most recently served as Senior Director of Public Policy & Strategic Initiatives at the Association for Behavioral Healthcare, an 80+ member agency provider association.

Background and history

From 2006 to 2012, Mandy worked in the Massachusetts Legislature, first as a Legislative Aide to a freshman member of the House of Representatives and then as the Legislative and Budget Director to the Vice Chair of the Senate Committee on Ways and Means. In this role, Mandy served as a Senior Adviser to the Senator on all legislative, policy and budget priorities, with a special emphasis on priority policy areas of mental health care, child welfare and substance use.

Education

Mandy has a Master of Science in Public Administration from the University of Massachusetts, Boston and a Bachelor of Science in Politics and American Studies from Fairfield University.
